How do I get a background check?

A background check is optional. It lets you quote on jobs that require screening and shows on your profile once cleared.

1. 1Open Profile & badges and scroll to the background check card.
2. 2Enter your work state, city and ZIP, then start the check.
3. 3Watch the progress strip: invitation sent, in progress, then cleared.

• A job that needs screening shows "This job needs a background check" with a "Get yours" link.
